Since the start of Megan Thee Stallion’s career, she has long been committed to giving back and using her platform to support underserved communities.


We are proud to highlight her past philanthropic work which served as building blocks for the Pete & Thomas Foundation.

2019

Cognac Queen Pageant Scholarships
(August 14, 2019)

In support of educational access, Megan partnered with the Cognac Queen Pageant which awarded $10,000 scholarships to two young women. 

Food Bank of Houston

(November 20, 2019)

For Thanksgiving, Megan donated 1,000 turkeys that were included in the Food Bank of Houston’s pantry bags and distributed to families in Houston.


2020

HMG Healthcare Foundation
(April 9, 2020)

Megan Thee Stallion teamed up with Amazon Music to donate much-needed funds and supplies to Park Manor of South Belt Assisted Nursing Facility, a care facility for senior citizens in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Amazon Music also provided Fire Tablets for residents to stay connected with family.

Virtual Meet & Greet with Cancer Patients
(April 28, 2020)


Megan Thee Stallion collaborated with nonprofit organization F Cancer to participate in a virtual meet & greet with isolated cancer patients.



Bread of Life
(April 29, 2020)


During the 2020 pandemic, a portion of artist proceeds from Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” remix, featuring Beyoncé benefited Houston nonprofit Bread of Life, Inc. in support of COVID-19 relief efforts in Houston in 2020 in addition to ongoing work in 2021 and 2022.

Proceeds supported ongoing programs:


  • Thanksgiving turkey and essential food distribution to 800 families in Houston.

  • Provided nutritious food for Christmas to over 5,000 families in Houston, nearly 1,800 families in Galveston, and over 300 children were able to have a meaningful Christmas holiday. 

  • Since August 2020, provided community outreach and COVID-19 information to thousands of Houstonians via KMAZ The Amazing 102.5 FM

Donation of 20,000 facemasks to vulnerable populations in Houston, TX – (May 2020)

Megan, alongside Bella Canvas, donated 20,000 facemasks. In partnership with Congresswoman Jackson Lee, 10,000 were provided to Harris County Jail for inmates. 10,000 were distributed to the North, South, West and Inner Houston neighborhoods in partnership with Angel by Nature, an organization aimed at benefiting and supplying the Houston community with relief efforts ranging from living conditions, education, to personal health and motivation.

Bail Fund Assistance for Black Lives Matter Protestors
(June 2020)

Megan supported Restoring Justice, a criminal justice organization, providing bail fund assistance to protesters at the Harris County Jail in response to the George Floyd protests.




THEE DON’T STOP SCHOLARSHIP IN COLLABORATION WITH AMAZON
(OCTOBER 2020)

In partnership with Amazon, Megan Thee Stallion launched Thee Don't Stop Scholarship which awarded $20,000 to two women.



2020 Holiday Support Efforts
(December 2020)


For the 2020 December holidays, Megan Thee Stallion supported four nonprofit organizations and provided holiday gifts to senior citizens, children, and young adults.


YWCA Houston
(December 21, 2020)

Surprised 1200 senior citizens with gift packages that included a special COACH item and food in partnership with COACH and the YWCA of Houston. 


Covenant House Houston

(December 28, 2020)

Provided 20 homeless young women with holiday gifts.


Salvation Army City Club for Boys and Girls
& Garden City Apartments

(December 28, 2020)

Provided over 100 youth with holiday gifts.


YMCA & Real Beauty Real Women
(December 28, 2020)

Provided 20 young girls who were victims of abuse and sex trafficking with holiday gifts.


2021

Make a Wish Foundation – (February 3, 2021)

On February 3, Megan spoke with 14 year-old Jayvon Bright from Alpharetta, GA who was suffering from Metastatic Osteosarcoma (rare bone cancer). Jayvon was a big fan of Megan and was inspired by her commitment to her goals, specifically related to her finishing her college degree. Jayvon passed away in May 2021.

Winter Storm Uri Relief for Senior Citizens and Single Mothers
(March 4, 2021)

Megan partnered with NACC Disaster Services and US Representative Sheila Jackson Lee to help rebuild and repair homes at no cost to senior citizens and single mothers in her hometown of Houston following Winter Storm Uri, totaling 52 major home repairs for seniors and 1 single mother, 30 minor home repairs and 3 homes are currently being repaired as of November 2021.  


“Women on Top” in collaboration with Fashion Nova Cares
(March 8-31, 2021)

Megan partnered with Fashion Nova Cares on the philanthropic initiative, “Women on Top,” to provide funds to organizations focused on education, women-owned businesses, and uplifting female-focused charities. Fashion Nova’s contributions totaled $1,000,000, ten of which were selected by Megan and received $25,000 each. Those ten were focused on a variety of causes such as disaster relief for single women and senior citizens, housing and general well-being support for homeless women, scholarship funds for low-income women in the sciences, economic and social justice for women of color, in addition to women entrepreneurs and small women-founded businesses with products and services like skincare and fashion.

Shawn Carter Foundation Digital HBCU Bus Tour

(April 2, 2021)


Megan participated as a special guest to conclude the annual Shawn Carter Foundation (SCF) Digital HBCU Bus Tour where she shared her college experience with the 43 high school juniors and seniors, gave advice & personal insights of going to school, inspired the students, participated in a Q&A and briefly spoke with Ms. Gloria Carter, CEO & Co-Founder of SCF. 



The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at LIU Brooklyn
(June 2021)

Megan announced a full-ride scholarship for a deserving student from her native Houston, TX to attend The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at LIU Brooklyn. 



Back to School Giveaway @ Albert Thomas Middle School

(August 2021)


Megan provided back-to-school essentials that included a Nike backpack, Nike socks, Coach wallet, swag from Popeyes, hats, socks, and basketballs to all 600 students attending her alma mater, Albert Thomas Middle School. 



Houston Random Acts of Kindness in collaboration with Popeyes
(October 2021)

Megan Thee Stallion selected the Houston RAK Day to receive a donation in partnership with Popeyes, to distribute toys and gifts for youth and families in need for the holidays. Four festive distributions provided 150 bikes, 300 scooters, over 4,500 toys, and were even attended by Santa Claus, the Grinch, Olaf the Snowman, and Santa's Elves. 



Thanksgiving Food Distribution with NACC Disaster Relief

(November 2021)


Megan Thee Stallion donated $10,000 to the NACC Disaster Relief to provide 4,000 families with a Thanksgiving meal. 



Steve Fund’s Project Mental Health Programming
in Collaboration with XQ Institute

Megan participated in the program about health wellness, with a $20,000 contribution going to the Steve Fund’s Projects activities in Houston. The Steve Fund’s Project has engaged over 440 students in the Houston Independent School District with 400 students being currently enrolled in the Well-Being in Color Workshops, 25 students from the Houston area have been trained as peer co-facilitators for the Well-Being in Color Workshops, and 80 are enrolled in support groups. The entire program was focused on removing the stigma of mental illness and raising awareness of anxiety and depression in young people of color.



18th Congressional District Humanitarian Award
(December 12, 2021)

Congresswoman Jackson Lee honored Megan with the 18th Congressional District Humanitarian Award for her efforts during the winter storm and other charitable work in Houston.
